J.C. DENNER bass in f in maple with one brass key and bocal, at a=440 or 415. While many of Denner's bass recorders are still in existance, this instrument, based on an original in Konstanz, Switzerland, is the finest example of his work. The exterior has all the wonderful baroque turnings that one finds in mid-eighteenth century basses. It is a pleasure to see as well as to play. Keys for low f#, c and d are available.
